I am a turcologist based in Strasbourg, working on the philology and history of the Turkic languages. My doctoral dissertation, nearing completion at the University of Strasbourg, examines the reception of the French orientalist Léon Cahun in Turkish historiography. My next project, a post-doctoral study of Old Turkic, returns to the philological core that has shaped my work from the beginning.
